When it comes to choosing your CBD strength, there is so much information out there it’s easy to be confused. Here’s something that should make deciding, a little easier.
Once you better understand how CBD works for you, you will be able to adjust your strength or dosage accordingly. The effects of CBD oil vary from person to person, but it is generally best to start with a lower concentration and see how it works for you, then increase the dose or increase to a higher concentration if you feel the need. Sometimes a low dose is enough, especially if this is your first time using a CBD hemp oil product.
What strength CBD oil should I use? As mentioned, once you start using CBD oil more often and can estimate how much you need, you can move on to more powerful products if desired. Hemp oil at 600mg is a good “boost” option for people who need to take large (and/or multiple) doses of lower activity. However, many people will not use the full dose and will instead use a minimum of 5-7 drops of the oil, resulting in a dose of around 5-6mg.
A little math never hurt anyone
What strength CBD oil should I use? If you are using our 1000mg CBD Oil Tincture for a daily dose of 18mg, you will be taking just over 4 drops (18/4). With this CBD oil dosage calculator as a guide, you will find that you need to consume 10 drops or 0.5 milliliters to reach 25 milligrams. Now let’s say we need a dose of 80 mg. We need to take 2 droppers to get a dose of 80mg as a full dropper will contain 40mg of CBD.
What strength CBD oil should I use? If the pipette contains 1ml of liquid, you can see that you get 10mg of CBD per filled pipette (about 40 drops). The higher the strength of the oil, the more CBD you get per drop (as shown in the image below), so a few more drops per day may be more convenient.
The 1st bottle may seem more expensive, but it is more potent due to the higher potency, and more CBD per drop, so you can use fewer drops of CBD oil to achieve the same effect. In terms of percentages, one contains 10% CBD, while the 20ml bottle contains 5% CBD, which means that each drop contains half the CBD. The percentage difference is that you can have two bottles of 500mg, for example a bottle of 30ml and a bottle of 10ml: 10ml has the same amount of CBD as 30ml, but the percentage is 3 times higher in 10ml.
The milligram count simply tells you how much CBD is in the container, but the percentage can be more complex. Some CBD products do some of these calculations for you and show you how many milligrams are in a millilitre, some even mark those dots on the pipette so you know exactly what you’re taking. The percentage by itself does not indicate the amount of CBD, so the volume of the product (10 ml, 30 ml, etc.) must also be taken into account. A single dose will still be defined as 20 drops (1 ml) of the oil, but instead of 10 mg of CBD, a 600 mg bottle will contain 20 mg per serving.
Enjoy the positive effects, but look out for potential bad ones
What strength CBD oil should I use? Further recommendations indicate that the amount can be doubled again at doses up to a maximum of 1200 mg per day, and a maximum of 1 may further reduce the number of seizures, but regular use at this level may cause liver problems and dose. CBD consumed overtime should be reduced if the liver cannot process it. Some people may find that they are not affected by CBD, so it may be necessary to take a higher dose to notice any positive effects. It may be necessary to experiment with different methods and dosages (low/high doses) before experiencing the optimal effects of CBD. If you decide to try CBD, it’s also important to note that there is no universally accepted dose.
Become a CBD expert
What strength CBD oil should I use? By practicing the calculations listed in this guide, you can quickly become a wizard at dosing the various strengths of CBD for yourself. By starting with the oil with the lowest potency, you will be able to correctly estimate the amount of CBD needed to achieve positive results. If you are in the group of users who are particularly sensitive to CBD and other cannabinoids, then you will not need a strong oil to achieve the expected effects. Unlike low or medium-strength oil, high doses of CBD oil can have significant side effects if not taken properly.
High-strength can provide huge benefits when used correctly, however, they are not suitable for beginners or those who are still experiencing the power of CBD oil. CBD oils around 600mg are often considered medium strength and can be used daily if lower doses are too weak for you. Most CBD oils range in potency from 250mg to 1000mg, but Blessed CBD has options up to the 1800mg level (which, frankly, might be too strong for some people. The 500mg and 1000mg options are great).
No more aches and pains
What strength CBD oil should I use? From everyday aches and pains to migraines, anxiety, and insomnia, medium-strength CBD oils like Pure Earth 750mg can be a much more effective way to alleviate troublesome symptoms without a regular resupply. For example, if you suffer from anxiety or depression, a lower dose of CBD may work better than a higher dose for symptom relief because CBD may act as a mild stimulant at lower doses, but as a mild sedative at higher doses.
